Overview
The S8000 HT is a high-precision, high-temperature reference hygrometer for humidity calibration and standards laboratories. It uses thermally compensated optics to detect condensation on the mirror, achieving ±0.1 °C (±0.18 °F) accuracy across a −30 °C to +95 °C (−22 °F to +203 °F) dew-point range.
Working Principle
A thermally compensated chilled-mirror optical system detects the onset of condensation on a cooled mirror surface and precisely controls mirror temperature to hold the dew-point condition, while an external PRT provides relative humidity readings alongside the primary dew-point measurement.
