Overview
The QMA401 is a next-generation Advanced Quartz Crystal Microbalance analyzer designed to provide reliable, fast and accurate measurement of trace moisture content in applications where keeping moisture to a minimum is critical. Consistent accuracy is achieved through a self-calibration system that adjusts the sensor against an internal moisture generator, traceable to NPL and NIST, guaranteeing long-term measurement stability.
Working Principle
A quartz crystal microbalance sensor measures trace moisture by detecting the change in oscillation frequency as moisture adsorbs onto the crystal surface, while an internal, NPL/NIST-traceable moisture generator periodically re-calibrates the sensor in place, removing the drift and downtime associated with external reference calibration.
