Overview

The Optidew 401 and Optidew 501 are fast-responding chilled mirror hygrometers utilizing the latest developments in chilled mirror technology, ideal for industrial humidity control and precision laboratory applications. They achieve ±0.15 °C dew-point accuracy across a −40 to +120 °C range, and are available in bench top, wall mount, or transmitter-only (Optidew 501, no display) configurations.

Working Principle

A new chilled mirror hybrid sensor cools a mirrored surface until condensation forms, giving fast dynamic response to changes in humidity; the mirror temperature at the point of condensation is a direct dew-point reading, while an optional pressure transmitter enables accurate ppmV and g/kg calculations.
