Overview
The Easidew PRO XP is a robust explosion/flameproof dew-point transmitter for trace moisture measurement in gases or non-polar liquids in hazardous areas. Unlike the intrinsically safe Easidew PRO I.S., it uses Ex d flameproof/explosion-proof protection, giving OEMs and refineries a single rugged unit with global explosion-proof certification for any installation location.
Working Principle
Michell’s ceramic metal-oxide moisture sensor sits inside a flameproof (Ex d) enclosure rated to contain an internal explosion, with dual conduit entry for electrical connections. A secondary RS485 communications system allows on-site re-ranging and re-scaling between dew point, ppmV and ppmW outputs; an optional integral 4-digit LED display shows the configured output locally.
