Overview

The Easidew I.S. is a dedicated intrinsically safe dew-point transmitter certified for measuring trace moisture and water dew-point in flammable or explosive gases and a wide range of non-polar liquids. It carries global hazardous-area certification (IECEx, cQPSus, ATEX, UKCA), making it suited to compressed-air drying, medical gas, CNG stations and natural-gas moisture duties inside classified areas.

Working Principle

Michell’s ceramic metal-oxide moisture sensor changes capacitance in proportion to adsorbed water vapour. A 2-wire loop-powered circuit linearises and temperature-compensates the reading, outputting a 4-20 mA signal scaled to dew point or ppmV moisture content; the sensor and electronics are packaged to intrinsically safe Ex ia standards for direct installation in Zone 0 / Division 1 areas.
