Overview
The Ntron Minox i is an intrinsically safe, 2-wire, loop-powered oxygen transmitter with a 4–20 mA output, approved for hazardous areas. It uses solid-state (0–25 %) or electrochemical (0–10 / 100 / 1000 ppmV) sensors, has a small footprint and offers KF40, flow-through and tri-clamp process connections with an industry-standard M12 plug.
Working Principle
A solid-state (OC-92) or electrochemical (OC-90, OC-60, OC-69) sensor and the transmitter electronics are combined in a 316 stainless steel housing; the signal is output as a loop-powered 4–20 mA current, powered at 24 V DC through a suitable I.S. barrier.
