Overview
The Microx-OL is a wall-mounted instrument designed to measure oxygen concentration in inert gas supplied under positive pressure. It uses zirconia or electrochemical sensor technology to give a reliable measurement across % and ppm oxygen ranges, in a compact slimline enclosure with an integral visual alarm beacon, internal pressure and flow regulation, and an LCD with 4-button HMI for simple local operation.
Working Principle
Sample gas is delivered to the instrument at positive pressure through 6mm or 1/4" compression fittings, where internal pressure and flow regulation condition the sample before it reaches the zirconia or electrochemical sensor. Configurable alarm relays and an integral visual beacon trigger on out-of-range readings, while a 4-20mA output with RS232 communication provides continuous readings to external control or monitoring systems. Typical zirconia sensor life is 3 to 5 years within stated specifications.
