Overview
The Wireless Alert-LD detects the presence of water using a dedicated leak-detecting probe and automatically sends warning notifications to a user-selected email address. The device body mounts with a supplied adhesive pad, while the sensor itself can be securely screw-mounted in the monitored area. Users can configure a delay before alerts trigger, filtering out brief, non-critical fluid detection events, and the unit can also send scheduled summary emails covering alert count, total time in alert, and current battery level.
Working Principle
A 1.5 m waterproof (IP67) leak-detecting probe continuously monitors for the presence of water. On detection, after any user-configured delay period has elapsed (to filter out momentary events), the device sends an email alert over Wi-Fi via the FilesThruTheAir platform, with a typical response time of under 1 minute.
