Overview
The Omega OM-EL-WIFI-Series is a family of wireless data loggers covering internal-sensor temperature and humidity, removable thermistor probe temperature (single or dual channel), and thermocouple input temperature (type J, K, T or N, single or dual channel). Data transmits wirelessly over WiFi to a PC and is viewed with a free software package, with local buffering if network connectivity is temporarily lost.
Working Principle
Depending on variant, an internal sensor, removable thermistor probe, or thermocouple input measures the target parameter at a fixed logging interval; readings are stored onboard and transmitted over the configured WiFi network to PC software for live viewing, graphing and Excel export, with autonomous logging continuing if the network connection drops.
