Overview
The EL-21CFR-TP-LCD is a standalone, 21CFR Part 11-compliant data logger that records and displays over 32,000 temperature readings from a supplied external thermistor probe. An integrated LCD and push-button let the user cycle through the most recent, highest and lowest stored readings directly on the device, without needing a PC.
Working Principle
A thermistor probe on a 1 m cable feeds continuous temperature readings to the logger, which stores them to onboard memory at a user-selectable interval. Data is retrieved by connecting the logger to a PC via USB and using Lascar's free 21CFR Part 11 software, which enforces user permissions, encrypts stored data against edits, and maintains a full audit trail with electronic signatures for every action.
