Overview
The EL-CC-1-001 is an ultra-low-cost chilled goods data logger sold in packs of 10, pre-configured with sample high (8°C) and low (2°C) alarms so it can be pressed into use immediately with no setup. Pressing the button starts logging and lights the status LEDs to give an instant indication of whether an alarm condition has been exceeded during the session. At the end of the trip or storage period, the IP67-rated plastic wallet is torn open to expose a USB connector, and the free EasyLog CC software is used to download, graph and archive the data.
Working Principle
A single-use sensor and logging circuit begins recording at the press of a button, sampling temperature at a fixed 10-minute interval for up to 220 days. High and low alarm thresholds are pre-programmed at the factory (2°C/8°C by default, though custom cumulative alarm configurations are available for specific goods such as different fish or pharmaceutical storage classes). The logger and its IP67 wallet keep the electronics protected in wet or refrigerated environments until data is retrieved via USB at the end of the monitored trip.
