Overview
The Weiss VTVA & VTR Series are vapor actuated dial thermometers offered in 3½" and 4½" dial sizes, furnished in five stainless steel case configurations (direct, surface, panel or adjustable-bracket remote mount). A wide range of bulb styles, capillaries and process connection fittings makes the series suited to hot and chilled water pipeline systems, tanks and air ducts.
Working Principle
A vapor-filled thermal bulb and capillary system responds to process temperature, transmitting a pressure change through the capillary to a phosphor bronze Bourdon tube in the indicating head, which drives a slotted adjustable pointer across the dial.
