Overview
The LOX-EVB LuminOx Evaluation Interface Board enables straightforward testing of LuminOx optical oxygen sensors, a range of factory-calibrated sensors that measure ambient oxygen using the principle of fluorescence quenching by oxygen. The board converts the LuminOx sensor's TTL-level RS232 output into three simultaneous standard industrial outputs and automatically detects whether the connected sensor is a ppO2 or O2% variant.
Working Principle
The board interfaces directly with a connected LuminOx sensor over its native TTL-level serial output, auto-detecting the sensor variant (ppO2 or O2%), and simultaneously converts that signal into RS232, RS485 (Modbus RTU) and a 0-5V analog output so the sensor can be evaluated with whichever interface suits the test setup.
