Overview

The Rotronic HygroFlex5-EX is a two-channel humidity and temperature transmitter engineered for exact measurement in explosive atmospheres. Its robust aluminium housing is available with or without local display, and the attached probe is cast into a stainless steel tube certified for hazardous-area operation.

Working Principle

An intrinsically safe probe cast into a stainless steel tube measures humidity and temperature and reports through the ATEX/IECEx certified HF5-EX transmitter body, with configuration and data handled via Rotronic HygroSoft software.
