Overview
The DT722 measures relative humidity and temperature and can output dew point, absolute humidity or wet-bulb temperature. Designed for accurate measurement in harsh environments, it has a stainless steel housing, withstands temperatures up to 150 °C and offers long-term stability of ±1 %rh over 12 months. Probe lengths of 200, 300, 500 or 900 mm are available, with or without display.
Working Principle
The RH and temperature sensors in the stainless steel probe are read by the transmitter electronics, which provide two 4–20 mA outputs: output 1 for humidity (RH, calculated dew point, absolute humidity or wet bulb) and output 2 for temperature. The unit is powered from 8–32 V DC via a 5-pin M12 connector.
