Overview

The Geotech BIOGAS 5000 is an easy to use, calibrate and configure portable gas analyser that enables consistent collection of data for improved analysis and accurate reporting, while helping to check that the digester process is running efficiently. It measures % CH4, CO2 and O2 as standard and can monitor up to 6 gases.

Working Principle

CH4 and CO2 are measured by a dual-wavelength infrared sensor with reference channel; O2 and optional H2S, H2, CO and NH3 by internal electrochemical cells. An internal pump draws the sample from the digester sample point.
