Overview

The MultiDetek3 EX houses the proven MultiDetek3 GC platform inside an ATEX/IECEx-certified, purged stainless steel enclosure, extending it to Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous-area use. A slide-out rack design lets multiple instruments and the sampling system share one enclosure while staying easy to access for maintenance or upgrades.

Working Principle

Sample gas is drawn through the enclosed GC modules, with stream selection handled by onboard diaphragm/rotary valves. The purged, explosion-proof housing keeps the standard MultiDetek3 electronics and detector options safe for use in classified areas, while LAN connectivity keeps the GC and stream selector remotely controllable.
