Overview
The PLF2598L is a 2½" glycerine-filled pressure gauge sized for compact installations where pulsating or vibrating pressure would otherwise cause excessive pointer flutter and reduced readability.
Working Principle
The gauge case is filled with glycerine, which surrounds the internal Bourdon tube movement and dampens vibration and pulsation before it reaches the pointer, while pressure still deflects the Bourdon tube proportionally to drive the pointer across the dial.
