Overview

The Galvanic FPA 4100 is a process photometer family covering a wide range of analytes in both gas and liquid streams. A photonics module supports either UV or visible light sources with a temperature-controlled photodiode block for signal stability, coupled to the measurement cell via fiber optic cable — with no reagents or compressed gases required for continuous measurement.

Working Principle

Light from the UV or visible source passes through the sample cell to a temperature-controlled detector. Dual-wavelength measurement compensates for turbidity, light-intensity drift, optical window coating, and bubbles, giving a stable, linear response to concentration with no moving parts.
