Overview
The Huberg LASER One is a professional-grade methane detector for fast, accurate leak detection on underground and above-ground pipelines, using Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) for methane-only selectivity with zero cross-gas interference. It eliminates the need for calibration gas cylinders, simplifying field operation and reducing maintenance costs, and integrates GPS and Bluetooth for geo-tagged data logging.
Working Principle
A tuned diode laser measures methane absorption directly in the sample path, giving pinpoint leak quantification without cross-sensitivity to other gases. Integrated GPS tags each reading by location, and Bluetooth/USB connectivity transfers logged data to QED PROSoft or other reporting systems.
